I’m not much of a concert goer, but I must say that Mayhem/Watain/Revenge – January 23, 2015 – Calgary, was one of the best ones’ I have been to. Mayhem for a long time has been one of my favourite bands, and to see them in TOP form, with Watain and Edmonton’s Revenge was truly a glorious Black Metal ritual to behold.
– KISS at the Regina Agridome on August 2, 1977 changed life (not necessarily in a good way!) and I became a live music fan for life.
– Johnny Cash, June Carter & The Carter Family as a toddler with my parents is something I am now thankful I was at.
– A secret post-concert gig at a place called the Rocket Club (300 in attendance) in Nashville with Prince – old-school funk, R&B, Motown, deep cuts for four (!) hours. It was morning when we left the joint.
– Any one of the 18 times I’ve seen the Rolling Stones.
